Easy installation and high quality materials
You can quickly and easily retrofit the VA-Hydro into existing installations and circulation lines. Depending on your specific water volumen requirements and applications, there is a
suitable VA-Hydro system. A performance overview of the VA-Hydro systems can be found in the respective datasheet. All water-bearing components installed in the VA-Hydro are made of
materials tested according to German standard DIN 1.4571. The materials comply with German DVGW requirements and are suitable for installation in drinking water and cooling water systems.

The heart of the VA-Hydro is similar to a cyclone. In the chamber, water is extremely accelerated so that very high flow and cavitation forces are generated, which mechanically destroy bacteria.
2. Collection Tank
The VA-Hydro is integrated into existing water circuits for cooling water or hot water circulations. If this is not possible, a separate treatment circuit must be created via a collection tank.
3. Pressure boosting
A high-pressure pump feeds water into the reaction chamber of the VA-Hydro to make optimum use of the hydrophysical water treatment effect.
4. Cooling tower
The VA-Hydro keeps process water in cooling towers and heat exchangers free of microbiological contamination and hygienically stable. Existing infestation and insulating biofilm coatings are
successively broken down, lowering your operating costs and reducing your maintenance effort.
5. LEGIONELLa colonies
One effect of hydrophysical water treatment with the VA-Hydro is reducing the surface tension of the water by up to 40 %. The water infiltrates and dissolves biofilm deposits (which contain
legionella colonies) to destroy them in the reactor chamber after that.
Without the addition of chemicals, the cell walls of, for example, legionella, are broken down in the water. The microbiological matter is mechanically destroyed. Oxygen dissolved in the water
subsequently oxidizes the mechanically destroyed cell material.
7. Branch lines
Due to a lack of flushing processes, unused pipes and branch lines are an ideal breeding ground for legionella. Such branch lines can also be flushed with the VA-Hydro to remove legionella.
Requirements and certification
All valves and seals used in the VA-Hydro are approved for drinking water and comply with the DVGW (German Gas and Water Association) requirements according
to DVGW W 270. Since there are no moving parts in the VA-Hydro, and it only works with the shear forces known from nature (cavitation principle), no lubricants or preservatives are used.
The VA-Hydro system does not endanger or impair drinking water, according to German DIN EN 1717. Thus the application of the VA-Hydro corresponds to category 1 according to DIN EN 1717
