The EU-Einheit features two 20" sediment filters with a fineness of 5 µm, which remove larger particles before water treatment to protect the RO membranes.
An optional 20" activated carbon post-filter can be added for an additional stage of cleaning.
Depending on the configuration, an EU-Einheit has either 4 or 8 high-performance RO membranes, capable of producing up to 24,000 l of ultra-pure water daily. This capacity ensures reliable supply of high-quality water, even in high-demand situations.
A flushing system specially developed by VISION AQUA® ensures long operational life for the RO membranes. This not only extends the lifespan of the membranes but also guarantees consistently high production performance.
A sturdy frame made of aluminum system profiles supports the individual components of the EU-Einheit. Its compact construction easily fits onto a Euro pallet of 120 x 69 cm, facilitating transport and global deployment.
The use of GreenOsmo® Technology developed by VISION AQUA® in the EU-Einheit ensures consistently high drinking water quality. The system is characterized by high efficiency, low water consumption, and an excellent production quantity of the purest drinking water.
VISION AQUA®'s GreenOsmo® Technology allows for high energy efficiency and an optimal ultra-pure water to wastewater ratio. By recycling flushing water into the filtration process, water and energy are significantly saved, leading to a 30 % higher water recovery and 50 % lower energy consumption compared to standard procedures. Additionally, this technology extends the life of the membranes in the EU-Einheit, enhancing the system's efficiency and sustainability.
The modular construction, based on flexible aluminum system profiles, enables seamless integration into existing systems and easy adaptation to future process requirements. This allows for rapid expansions and the exchange of modules without the need for extensive remodeling.
Thus, multiple units of the EU-Einheit can be easily integrated within a single system. For example, in our container designed for disaster relief, up to six units of the EU-Einheit can be efficiently utilized.
The system is monitored by electronic sensors that measure Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) values and electrical conductivity. Filling begins automatically once the set minimum conductivity values are reached. Additionally, integrated wastewater treatment becomes active depending on the salt content, along with electronic monitoring of pressure, temperature, and flow. All values can be forwarded to a central location via ModBus TCP-IP. Optional extensions are available.
These components ensure precise monitoring of water quality and enable efficient operation while simultaneously protecting resources.
The EU-Einheit enables the immediate production of the purest drinking water from gray water or contaminated freshwater following installation. Thanks to flexible configurations, storage tanks of any size can be efficiently filled with clean water.
