What to do against Legionella in hot water?
The presence of Legionella in hot water pipes is a serious problem for property owners, property managers, landlords and hotel operators, as they can multiply quickly, especially in old
pipes and due to energy conservation. Traditional methods of combating Legionella have disadvantages: Thermal disinfection is time-consuming and expensive, while biocides harmful to health and
the environment lose their effectiveness over time. In addition, biocides are only approved for a limited period and will gradually be banned by the new Biocide Ordinance. It will then no longer
be possible to purchase them.
